Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Crose McCringe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenji Suzuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crose McCringe could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kenji Suzuki's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Crose McCringe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kenji Suzuki! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Joseph Jones and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Suzuki avoids a punch combination nicely.
McCringe lands with a nice body punch. McCringe gets tackled into the cage by Suzuki. Suzuki maintains the clinch. McCringe ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. McCringe no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McCringe looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. McCringe's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McCringe wants to hit a switch here but Suzuki passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for McCringe there!
That's one minute gone in the round. McCringe working to try and regain half guard.
McCringe holds of for dear life. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McCringe tries to lock up and control but Suzuki gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Suzuki working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Suzuki can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as McCringe is looking to escape. Suzuki controlling the pace for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. McCringe regains half guard. McCringe is trying to get back to full guard. McCringe's coaches at The Factory have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. McCringe gets back to full guard.
McCringe is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. McCringe might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. McCringe bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Suzuki's guard. McCringe trying to move into half guard but instead Suzuki has managed to sweep! McCringe looking for a sweep. Not yet McCringe, not yet. McCringe is controlling Suzuki's posture. Suzuki tries to stand but McCringe is controlling from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now McCringe is on top in guard.

Suzuki working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from McCringe. McCringe lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. McCringe connects with a couple of short punches. McCringe lands a couple of digs. McCringe is working Suzuki over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. McCringe sitting in guard here, content to control. McCringe is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Suzuki throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McCringe works a leg free and moves into half guard. McCringe wants to pass the guard but Suzuki is defending well. Suzuki is refusing to be controlled, as McCringe sits in half guard. McCringe slips a nice elbow through Suzuki's hands, connecting with Suzuki's forehead. McCringe seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Suzuki is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
