The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suzuki avoids a punch combination nicely.
McCringe lands with a nice body punch.

McCringe gets tackled into the cage by Suzuki. Suzuki maintains the clinch.

McCringe ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. McCringe no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McCringe looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
McCringe's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

McCringe's coaches at The Factory have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

McCringe is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
McCringe might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Suzuki is refusing to be controlled, as McCringe sits in half guard.
McCringe slips a nice elbow through Suzuki's hands, connecting with Suzuki's forehead.

McCringe seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Suzuki is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
