Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Carlos Gray! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Charles Professor X! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Professor X has managed to clinch.
Gray has clasped his hands together around Professor X's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Professor X tries to get back to half guard but can't. Gray is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Professor X has escaped the position, nice work there. Professor X tries to improve position but can't. Gray thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Professor X holds on to Gray's head and controls the position momentarily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gray tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Professor X gets back to half guard. Gray wants to work for an arm triangle but Professor X is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Gray tries to stand but his arm is trapped. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Professor X is looking to improve his position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Professor X gets a takedown into half guard. Professor X is looking for a kimura but Gray is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Professor X to get the leverage. Professor X seems to be working for a kimura but Gray defends the submission attempt. Professor X is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Gray has a hand on Professor X's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Professor X takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Gray could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Professor X controlling from the full mount. Professor X tries to control but Gray wriggling away. Professor X is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Gray is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Gray flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Professor X anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Gray and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Professor X slips an arm under Gray chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Professor X has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Professor X is squeezing on Gray like an anaconda would it's prey. Gray fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
