Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Bright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rogelio Rogelio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jamie Bright!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rogelio Rogelio!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Mauricio Rocha and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogelio dives in for a single leg takedown but Bright sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Rogelio rushes Bright and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Bright manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Bright has control of Rogelio's left arm, preventing Rogelio from doing any damage.
Bright has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bright bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rogelio's guard.
Bright landing with the ground and pound.
Bright will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Bright lands a couple of elbows.
Bright engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Bright works over Rogelio with some ground and pound from guard.
Bright is working Rogelio over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Rogelio looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Bright puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Rogelio misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Rogelio trying to get back to full guard but Bright takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

Bright avoids the attempt from Rogelio to control.
Rogelio really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bright. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Rogelio is bucking up trying to escape but Bright cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Bright controlling the pace for now.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bright lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Rogelio tries to lock up and control but Bright gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Bright landing strikes, looking to finish!
Rogelio is bucking up trying to escape but Bright cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Rogelio is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
Rogelio is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Bright postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Rogelio looks a forlorn figure.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rogelio takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bright scoring with strikes but Rogelio is staying in there.
Bright lands with some strikes.
Rogelio tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Bright really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jamie Bright dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Rogelio doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Bright counters with a nice leg kick.

Bright moves into the clinch.
Bright lands a damaging elbow.
Bright gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Rogelio regains guard.
Bright is working Rogelio over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Jamie Bright overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Bright distracts Rogelio with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Bright seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Rogelio is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Bright dives into side control.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Rogelio trying to control but Bright flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
Rogelio is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Rogelio is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rogelio tries to escape the position.
Bright scores with punches and elbows.
Rogelio won't enjoy being in this position. Bright looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Rogelio is tapping - it's over boys! Bright picks up the submission victory!
