Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Inigo Guerra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiroyuki Okamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guerra's entrance music is The Beast - Tech N9ne. A fine choice. Okamoto has chosen Feel the Drive as his entrance music. Inigo Guerra had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 22 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Inigo Guerra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 21 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiroyuki Okamoto!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guerra cracks the inside of Okamoto's front leg.
Guerra jabs Okamoto right on the nose. Okamoto blinks but takes it well.

Okamoto manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Guerra on his heels. He'll look to pass Guerra's guard now, I'm sure.

Okamoto escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Guerra gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Okamoto wants to hit a switch here but Guerra passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Okamoto there!
Okamoto is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Guerra seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Guerra not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Guerra has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Okamoto is on top in guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Okamoto wants to pass the guard but Guerra is defending well.
Inigo Guerra overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Guerra is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Okamoto's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Okamoto's back!
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Okamoto manages to reverse the position and now he's in Guerra's guard. Nice work there by Okamoto.

That was a close second round but I would say that Inigo Guerra will probably get the nod.

Okamoto doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Okamoto throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Guerra scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Guerra throws a right hand that Okamoto ducks under and follows up with a left that Okamoto also avoids with ease.

Guerra is looking to wear down Okamoto with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Okamoto closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Guerra's guard.

Okamoto has his foot on Guerra's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Guerra works his way back into a safe position though.
Hiroyuki Okamoto has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well Guerra has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
