Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tam Zeus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ritchie Blackmore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blackmore has chosen 16th century greensleeves as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zeus's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Blackmore connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Zeus scrambles back to his feet.
A big right from Zeus misses.
Blackmore throws a hook to the side of Zeus's head but Zeus sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Zeus takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Blackmore walks into a stiff left hand from Zeus.

Blackmore is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Zeus off. It looks like it's working - Zeus slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Blackmore displaying calm under pressure there.

Blackmore felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Zeus looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Blackmore with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tam Zeus.
I think Blackmore has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
