Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Norbert Fortenberry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zico Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Norbert Fortenberry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Zico Ali!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Matheus Silva and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ali ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
We've been hearing reports that Fortenberry has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Fortenberry pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Ali rushes Fortenberry and presses him up against the cage.
Fortenberry jumps guard and drags Ali to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Fortenberry looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Ali has picked Fortenberry up and slammed him! Fortenberry can't keep hold of the triangle and Ali manages to pass to side control!
Fortenberry manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Ali prevents Fortenberry from improving his position.
Ali really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fortenberry. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ali tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Fortenberry.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fortenberry manages to get to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ali would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fortenberry working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ali doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Fortenberry is tightening it up a little... Ali has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Ali reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Ali taps out! Nice BJJ there by Fortenberry!
