Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Deangelo Sturtsil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emong Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Salvacion has chosen Till I Collapse as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Emong Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sturtsil closes this distance looking for a takedown but Salvacion circles away.
Sturtsil shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Salvacion makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Nice takedown defense from Salvacion. No joy for Sturtsil on that attempt.
As Sturtsil backs off Salvacion throws a huge counter combo but Sturtsil manages to avoid it all.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Deangelo Sturtsil. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sturtsil shoots in looking for a takedown. Salvacion tries to sprawl out of it but Sturtsil keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Salvacion manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Sturtsil has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Sturtsil is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Salvacion can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Sturtsil cracks Salvacion with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sturtsil connects with a nice short shot to Salvacion's temple.

Salvacion is looking to defend but Sturtsil has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Salvacion! Sturtsil pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Salvacion taps out and this one is all over!

A very excited looking Deangelo Sturtsil made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Emong Salvacion was interviewed post fight and said 'Thank you so much to the fans, my family, this is it. I'm done and I'm going out with a grateful heart thank you so much guys!'.
