Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 45 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Krammer Hussein!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hussein has Rivera up against the cage in a clinch.

Rivera can't find room to land a body shot as Hussein controls the action.

Mountain Rivera has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Krammer Hussein.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Rivera shoots for a takedown but Hussein saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Rivera goes for a double leg but Hussein avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hussein continues to drive forward.
Rivera fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Rivera on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Rivera tries to get out of the position.
Hussein stands up over Rivera, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Hussein won't allow Rivera to get back to his feet.
Hussein cracks Rivera with a solid left hand.
Hussein lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Hussein drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Rivera dives on top into guard.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Hussein has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rivera can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Rivera makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

That's time! Rivera's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

We've been informed that Hussein has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Hussein drops down looking for an ankle pick but Rivera pulls his leg out and moves away.

Hussein shoots in and gets a takedown into Rivera's guard.

Rivera has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Hussein is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Hussein goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Rivera prevents a body shot from Hussein.

Hussein tightens his grip and picks Rivera up, before dumping him to the ground. Rivera manages to land in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hussein drops back, looking for a kneebar! Rivera looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Rivera looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Rivera!

Hussein is in all sorts of trouble here.
Hussein is in a horrible position here. Rivera smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
