Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jackie Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Esteban Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Three Dollar Hat. Scott has chosen Scotty Doesn't Know as his entrance music. Esteban Scott acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jackie Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Esteban Scott! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scott tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lee sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Scott somewhat. Scott smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Lee throws a body punch but Scott moves out of range. Lee misses with a looping right. Scott throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lee stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Scott scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Scott swats away the attempt to clinch by Lee. Scott dives in for a single leg takedown but Lee sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. A little feinted left hand from Lee on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Lee tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Scott lands with a thumping leg kick.
Scott has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Lee is landing a low percentage of strikes. Scott moves into the clinch. Scott jumps guard but Lee stands there with Scott around his waist. Scott gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Jackie Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Esteban Scott. Nice elbow from Lee.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott gets through Lee's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Scott's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Scott is looking to clinch but Lee is avoiding it.
Lee throws a leg kick but Scott moved away. Scott scores with a jab. Lee acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Scott.
Scott tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Scott showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lee.
Scott looks for a takedown but Lee sprawls well. A cross from Lee lands. Lee misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Scott counters with a shoot takedown. Lee fights it but they end up in guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Scott throws an elbow that misses. Lee uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Scott's guard. Nice move by Lee! Lee looking to sit in guard and control but Scott gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scott's corner is telling him to maintain position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Scott throws a big elbow that misses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Scott advances position into side control! Scott working the ground and pound but Lee is defending the strikes. Scott is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lee is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Scott lands a nice forearm strike. Scott is trying to ground and pound but Lee uses the momentary lack of control by Scott to regain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee is looking to control Scott's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lee avoid being mounted? Scott throwing shots but Lee is blocking nicely. Scott throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Lee on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Scott looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lee with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Scott missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Scott throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Lee to regain full guard. Scott missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Scott. Scott has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Scott throwing strikes from guard but Lee blocks nicely. Scott is looking to work some ground and pound but Lee has wrist control. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Scott's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Scott in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Scott trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Scott throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lee works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Scott stopping the sweep attempt from Lee. Scott trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Lee working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Scott. Scott throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Esteban Scott dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Lee throws the left hand but Scott avoids the punch easily. Lee wants to clinch. Esteban Scott seems to be getting the better of the standup. Scott lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Lee swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Scott fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lee has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Lee throws a nice inside leg kick. Some bone on bone action there as Scott checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Scott let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Scott slips under a jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scott scores with a leg kick.
Scott attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Lee checks the leg kick. Lee catches Scott with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Scott lands with a right hand. Scott throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lee on the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott throws a nice outside leg kick. Scott has been the more effective fighter overall so far. A left lands for Scott. Scott uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lee. Lee lands a jab. Scott is looking to clinch. Scott avoids a punch combination nicely.
A nice leg kick lands there from Scott. Scott throws a leg kick which misses Lee's front leg but catches the back leg as Lee tries to avoid it. Scott slips a straight right by Lee. Lee looks for the body kick but Scott saw that one coming. Scott thinks about the counter body kick. Scott closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Nice sprawl there from Lee as Scott shoots in. Scott shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lee defends it nicely.

Jackie Lee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Scott darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Lee keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Scott throwing shots but Lee is blocking nicely. Scott lands strikes from half guard. Lee works his way to full guard. Good work. Lee not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Scott working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Lee's head. Scott stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lee swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Scott drops an elbow to the side of Lee's head. Scott thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lee's head. Lee keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Scott wants to pass to mount but Lee is defending the position. Scott lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Scott is pressing down on Lee's thigh, looking to free his foot. Lee is holding on for now. Scott drops an elbow to the side of Lee's head. Scott landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Scott throwing shots but Lee is blocking nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Esteban Scott showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Scott keeps the fight on the outside. A combination from Lee does no damage. Scott with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Scott trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Scott advances to half guard. Scott throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Lee keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Scott throwing shots but Lee is blocking nicely. Scott looks to land a strike but Lee avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Lee is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Lee pulls Scott in to control the position. Scott is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Jackie Lee has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Lee has momentary wrist control but Scott slips an elbow through the middle. Scott loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Scott throws an elbow that misses. Lee uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Scott's guard. Nice move by Lee!
Esteban Scott is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Scott looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lee is one step ahead there. Lee being controlled here momentarily. Lee chips away with some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee preventing the sweep. Lee postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Lee preventing the sweep. Lee postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Lee stands up over Scott, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Scott tries to land a sweep but no joy. Lee postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Lee throws a big elbow that misses. Scott keeping moving, preventing Lee from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee postures up in Scott's guard and throws a big left but Scott blocks it. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Lee is looking to work some ground and pound but Scott has wrist control. Scott has control of Lee's left arm, preventing Lee from doing any damage.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Scott scores with a spinning back kick! Scott lands with a nice body punch. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Scott. Lee shrugs it off though. Scott bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A punch combination from Lee misses. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Scott with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Scott moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Scott moves into the clinch. Lee lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Scott backwards.
And that's the end of the fight! Esteban Scott comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Scott has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
