The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pyson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kearney tries to avoid it but Pyson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kearney to the ground. Kearney escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Pyson tries to clinch there but Kearney circles away.
Pyson shoots in and drives through. Kearney sprawls well.

Pyson tries to sprawl but Kearney drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Kearney seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Kearney is working to tighten his grip on Pyson's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Pyson has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Kearney is really squeezing tight and eventually Pyson passes out! Kearney breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
