Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Santi Santoro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julian Taheil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taheil comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bring Da Pain kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Santi Santoro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Julian Taheil! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Alyssa Summers and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taheil just misses with a punch to the body.
Santoro's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Taheil connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Santoro scrambles back to his feet. Santoro gets tackled into the cage by Taheil. Taheil maintains the clinch. Santoro has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Santoro works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Taheil kicks Santoro off and gets to his feet. Santoro takes one on the button. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Santoro fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Santoro shoots in and gets a takedown into Taheil's guard. Santoro trying to control but Taheil is working from the bottom. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Santoro accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Taheil has his foot on Santoro's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Santoro works his way back into a safe position though. Taheil is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Taheil is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Santoro rolls with it to try and escape but Taheil cranks on the arm and Santoro is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
