Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Henry Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob K (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Henry Lewis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Rob K!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
K tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
K throws a low kick but Lewis avoids it.
K throws a leg kick but Lewis checks it.
K throws a head kick but Lewis moves out of range.
Lewis throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by K.
K throws a sloppy head kick
and Lewis counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Lewis tries a head kick but it misses.
K throws a leg kick that is checked

and Lewis counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Lewis gets control of K's arms and successfully pulls guard. Lewis will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
K wants to stand but Lewis is controlling his posture from full guard.
Lewis pulls K in close to prevent any damage.
K won't allow Lewis to sweep him here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
K wants to get up but he can't break Lewis's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Lewis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but K can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lewis is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Lewis has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Lewis uses the cage to get back to his feet.
K misses with a straight right.
K throws a chopping leg kick but Lewis manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
K throws a leg kick that is checked

and Lewis decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in K's guard.
K looks gassed!
Lewis slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
K is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lewis is controlling him.

Lewis passes into half guard.

Lewis is looking for a kimura here.
Well, if Lewis is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

K throws a leg kick
and Lewis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Rob K seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
K misses with a low kick.
No luck for Lewis with that takedown attempt.
A jab from K misses.
K closes the distance but Lewis moves to the side
and Lewis counters with a nice low kick that buckles K's knee momentarily.
K thows a leg kick but Lewis checks it
and Lewis counters with a nice body shot.
K throws a combination that misses
and Lewis counters with a left to the body.

Lewis clinches with his opponent.
Lewis lands an elbow that stopped K in his tracks for a moment.

Lewis drags the fight down to the ground.
Lewis controlling the position.
Lewis doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Lewis bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in K's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lewis wants to control from the top but K keeps moving.
K preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Lewis tries to free his leg and advance position but K is retaining full guard.
Lewis stops K from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
K working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lewis.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Lewis is looking to work some ground and pound but K has wrist control.
Lewis passes into half guard.
Lewis working the head and body with strikes.
Lewis looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Lewis stops K from getting back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lewis not doing much here.

Lewis decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
K tries for a takedown but Lewis circles away easily
and Lewis counters with a big head kick but K shrugs it off.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Lewis decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Lewis prevents K from standing back up.
Lewis is tying to control. K wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
K looks like he's trying to stand up.
K should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Lewis takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
K is trying to stand back up but Lewis is controlling him
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Henry Lewis dominated that second round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Lewis tries a head kick but it misses.

K clinches up with Lewis and pushes him back against the cage.
Lewis keeps control of K as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
K can't break the clinch.
K misses with a knee strike.

Lewis gets control of K's arms and successfully pulls guard. Lewis will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Lewis wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lewis is on top in guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lewis throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as K works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Lewis tries to free his leg and advance position but K is retaining full guard.
K is looking to stand up but Lewis isn't so interested in that idea.
Lewis thows a big elbow that misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
K keeping full guard, as Lewis tries to pass.

Lewis stands up and waves to K to follow him.

Lewis gets a clinch.

K breaks from the clinch.
K blocks the body kick.

Lewis gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
K is trying to break free.
K is trying to break the clinch but Lewis has him pressed against the cage.

Lewis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
K tries to work over Lewis's front leg with a kick but Lewis checks it.
K tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lewis paws at him with a jab and circles away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Lewis gets the takedown into side control.
Lewis scores with punches from side control.
Lewis lands an elbow.
Lewis works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
A lull in the action here.
K is not content to let Lewis control the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lewis working the ground and pound but K is defending the strikes.

Lewis stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Rob K has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Lewis tries to clinch up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
K scores with a leg kick.
Henry Lewis is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lewis.
Lewis moves out of range of the strikes.

And that's the end of the fight!
Henry Lewis showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Lewis has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
