Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kaye Wong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Fenix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marcus Fenix!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Eddie Farnsworth and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wong digs a good body shot into Fenix's ribs.
Fenix lands a nice looking body shot.
Fenix fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Wong checks it well.
As Fenix looks to move away, Wong throws a big counter combo but Fenix just gets out of the way.
Fenix throws a head kick that misses.
Fenix is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wong.
Wong closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Fenix throws a sloppy head kick and Wong moves out of range easily.
Wong's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Wong duly obliges.

Wong lands with a kick to the temple. Fenix shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

That was a close round but I would say that Kaye Wong will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
