Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pablo Escobar!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Emerson Jorge and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escobar throws a head kick that misses.
Escobar misses with a takedown
enabling Gracie to counter with a crisp jab.
Escobar gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Gracie counters with a left hand that sends Escobar to the canvas!
Escobar is rocked!
Gracie's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gracie pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Escobar is keeping the position for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Escobar can't keep his opponent in guard - Gracie advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Escobar tries to roll over but Gracie keeps him under control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Escobar has hold of Gracie's hands but Gracie slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Escobar tries to get to full guard but Gracie has control of the leg.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Escobar is controlling Gracie's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Gracie not doing much here.
Escobar is looking to improve his position.
Gracie is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Escobar has managed to free his arm - good work.
Escobar won't allow Gracie to pass to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Gracie has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Escobar defend it? Gracie steps over the head and cranks it - Escobar is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Gracie!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jeffson Gracie!
A relieved looking Jeffson Gracie thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
