Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Conor Macguire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raymon Selby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Macguire's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, This Fire Burns. Macguire has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Conor Macguire!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Raymon Selby!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Selby closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Macguire is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Selby is looking to take this one to the mat.
Selby wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Macguire prevents the takedown attempt.
Selby wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Macguire is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Selby keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Macguire's efforts to push away.
Macguire is breathing heavily.
Macguire looking to throw knees to the head but Selby is blocking nicely.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Selby is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Conor Macguire seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Selby shoots in for a takedown but Macguire shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Selby fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Macguire avoids it really well and circles away.

Selby tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Selby wants to get back to striking at distance but Macguire won't allow it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Selby swats away the attempt to clinch by Macguire.
Selby tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Selby shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Selby showed some decent athleticism there.
The fighters are battling for position here. Macguire manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Selby wants to control from the top but Macguire keeps moving.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Selby can do anything to dispel that myth.

Macguire drops back looking for a leg! Selby is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Selby manages to kick Macguire off! Macguire jumps back into Selby's guard.

Selby really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Macguire. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Raymon Selby showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Selby takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Macguire throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Selby has managed to clinch.

Selby breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Macguire lands with a kick to the temple. Selby shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Conor Macguire has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Raymon Selby is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Selby shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Macguire defends it nicely.

And that's the end of the fight!
Conor Macguire showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Selby has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
