Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kid Caskey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hans Zimmer!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Caskey misses

and Zimmer counters with a takedown into side control.
Zimmer misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Caskey dodges the ground and pound from Zimmer.
Caskey on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Caskey tries to get out of the position.
Zimmer throws an elbow but Caskey slips to the side and avoids it well.
Caskey manages to work his way to half guard, despite Zimmer's best efforts.

Caskey is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Zimmer's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Zimmer's back!

Caskey is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Caskey has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Caskey's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zimmer is trying to get back to his feet but Caskey has full control of the position and if anything, Zimmer has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Zimmer is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Caskey.
Caskey has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Caskey is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Zimmer looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Caskey is fending him off so far but Zimmer persists. Nope, Caskey circles away and we're back to standing.

Caskey is pressed up against the cage. Zimmer has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Caskey down to the mat. Caskey avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

and Caskey cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Zimmer.
It looked like Caskey was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Caskey lands a big head kick that sends Zimmer tumbling to the mat! Caskey takes a step backwards and waves Zimmer back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Hans Zimmer has been cut.
Hans Zimmer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A swing and a miss from Caskey.
Caskey throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zimmer gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Caskey counters with a body kick.
Zimmer is breathing heavily.
Zimmer takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Caskey looks to throw the jab but Zimmer is out of range.

Caskey lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Zimmer fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Caskey moves into the clinch successfully.
Caskey has Zimmer pressed against the cage.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Caskey seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

Caskey escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Caskey lands a big head kick that sends Zimmer tumbling to the mat! Caskey takes a step backwards and waves Zimmer back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Caskey breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
No luck for Zimmer with that takedown attempt.

Zimmer fails to land the takedown.
Caskey is looking to counter with a body kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Caskey.
Caskey cracks the inside of Zimmer's front leg.
Zimmer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Caskey pinned against the cage. Caskey gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Caskey feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Zimmer's calf.
Caskey lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Zimmer gets tackled into the cage by Caskey. Caskey maintains the clinch.
Caskey manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Caskey for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Zimmer has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Caskey is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Zimmer tries to score a power double leg takedown but Caskey sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Zimmer somewhat.

Caskey escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Caskey. Zimmer shrugs it off though.
Zimmer takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Caskey looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Caskey lands a big head kick that sends Zimmer tumbling to the mat! Caskey takes a step backwards and waves Zimmer back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Kid Caskey is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
