Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Patrovski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshi Yoshida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshi Yoshida!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yoshida fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Patrovski sprawls well initially but Yoshida persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Yoshida thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Patrovski's head.

Yoshida drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Yoshida jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Yoshida postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Patrovski is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Yoshida, into his guard.

Yoshida has Patrovski pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Patrovski manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Patrovski feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Patrovski seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Yoshida does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
