The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khan avoids the head kick by A Bomb.
Genghis Khan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Khan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by A Bomb. A Bomb misses with a body punch
enabling Khan to counter with a crisp jab. Khan with a jab. A Bomb looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. A Bomb swings for the body but Khan moves out of range.
Khan lands with a nice body kick. Khan throws a lazy right hand but A Bomb sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A Bomb throws a body kick that misses. A Bomb has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Masaru Fighting Systems II in the buildup to the fight. Khan missing with a left hand there. A Bomb was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Khan lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
That's one minute gone in the round. A Bomb bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A Bomb was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. A jab from Khan finds it's way through A Bomb's defenses. Khan ducks under a wild hook from A Bomb. Khan connects with a crisp jab. A Bomb misses with a wild body shot. Khan blocks a head kick by A Bomb.
A Bomb fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Khan manages to avoid it. Khan tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and A Bomb is able to avoid easily. A Bomb fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Khan keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A Bomb looks to score with a jab to the body but Khan is just out of range. Jab by Khan. Khan has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. A lazy body kick from A Bomb enabling Khan to counter with a crisp jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Khan scores with a sloppy right hand. A Bomb should have avoided that one. A Bomb swings away with a body shot that misses
and Khan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Danga de danga de dang - Khan scores with a four punch combination! A decent looking cross lands there for Khan. Jab from Khan. Khan walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. A Bomb checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. A counter left hand to the body from A Bomb misses its target. A Bomb throws a body kick that misses. Khan is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! A Bomb had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A Bomb swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A Bomb misses with a low kick. Nice cross by Khan. Khan scores with a hook to the body. A Bomb takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Khan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A Bomb on the wrong end of a nice hook. Khan with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling A Bomb to score with a decent uppercut.
It looks like Genghis Khan has been cut. A Bomb fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Khan on the side of the head. Khan moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. A Bomb checks a leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Left hook, right uppercut from Khan. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Khan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. A Bomb takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. A Bomb is looking to wear down Khan with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. A Bomb pushes Khan away with a front kick. A Bomb scores with a jab to the body. Khan connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. A Bomb fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. A Bomb misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Khan.
Khan misses with a hook. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Genghis Khan dominated that round. The cut man is working on Genghis Khan's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
No joy there for A Bomb, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

A Bomb swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Khan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
It appears A Bomb was looking to counter with a kick there. Khan fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Khan rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and A Bomb finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Khan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Khan ducks under a wild hook from A Bomb. A Bomb moves away from the strike by Khan. A looping hook to the body misses from Khan. A Bomb does a little dance to reset his feet. A Bomb throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A Bomb scores with a jab. This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether A Bomb might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. A good leg kick by A Bomb.

Khan throws out a counter right but A Bomb avoids it with no problem. A Bomb tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Khan was well out of range. Poor timing from A Bomb. Khan only half commits to the counter leg kick. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by A Bomb.

and A Bomb counters with a head kick. A Bomb throws the left hand but Khan avoids the punch easily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A bone on bone clash there as A Bomb blocks the leg kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round. A Bomb throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Khan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Khan lands a head kick!
A Bomb moves away from the strike by Khan. It looked like A Bomb was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Khan. A Bomb walks into a left hand. A Bomb has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. A Bomb throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Khan slips a jab from A Bomb. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Khan! But no joy. Khan misses the jab. A decent looking body kick lands there for A Bomb.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A Bomb misses the body punch and Khan counters with an inside leg kick. A Bomb throws a body punch but Khan moves out of range. Khan appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Khan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and A Bomb has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from A Bomb and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. An attempted straight right counter from A Bomb misses the target. A Bomb throws a wild body kick that Khan sees coming a mile off. Khan looks like he wants to counter punch here. A Bomb lands a big head kick that sends Khan tumbling to the mat! A Bomb takes a step backwards and waves Khan back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Khan is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A Bomb slips a jab and a cross from Khan.
Khan is still on wobbly legs! Can A Bomb finish him? Crack! A Bomb connects with the perfect overhand right and Khan falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for A Bomb!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Calm Like A Bomb! A relieved looking Calm Like A Bomb thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
