Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timur Rubin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Timur Rubin told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Atkins and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wayne swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wayne throws a nice inside leg kick.
Wayne takes a swing at Rubin's ribcage but misses.
Rubin feints the counter takedown.
A low kick from Wayne is predictable there
and Rubin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Wayne throws a shot from downtown. Rubin moves away and avoids it.
Wayne dips to his left and cracks Rubin with an uppercut!
Wayne has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Rubin throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Wayne tumbling to the canvas!
It looks like Bruce Wayne has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wayne keeping moving, preventing Rubin from controlling successfully.
Wayne has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Rubin is looking to work some ground and pound but Wayne has wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

My spies in Gym Beam inform me that Rubin has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Rubin postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Rubin misses with an uppercut. Wayne saw that one coming.
Wayne swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Rubin drops Wayne with a big left hand and mounts him. Wayne is in big trouble!

Rubin lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Wayne! Rubin sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Wayne and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Timur Rubin!
After winning the bout, Timur Rubin thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
The defeated Bruce Wayne had this to say: 'What a load of horse shit'.
