Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ernest Dorsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adams has chosen The Rembrandts- I'll be there for you as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ernest Dorsey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ken Adams!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Chad Campbell and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Adams scores with a takedown into Dorsey's guard.

Dorsey pushes Adams off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Adams feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Adams is stalling in the full guard.
Adams is looking to work some ground and pound but Dorsey has wrist control.
Adams would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Adams throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Dorsey tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Adams is in Dorsey's guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Adams is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

Adams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dorsey swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dorsey tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Adams presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Adams takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Dorsey manages to get to full guard.
Adams won't allow Dorsey to get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Adams is pushing down on Dorsey's leg trying to pass to half guard. Dorsey is fighting to maintain full guard but Adams has managed to sneak the leg through.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Dorsey is trying to stand back up but Adams is controlling him
Adams lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Adams is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Adams drops an elbow to the side of Dorsey's head.

Adams is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Well, if Adams is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Dorsey wants to get back to his feet.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Adams on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Adams is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Dorsey's half guard.
Dorsey slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Adams works over Dorsey with some ground and pound from guard.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Adams. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Adams stands and throws Dorsey's legs to the side, diving into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ken Adams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!


Adams tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Dorsey fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Dorsey keeps the fight on the outside.
Dorsey thows a body kick. Adams tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Adams changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dorsey looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Dorsey explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Adams tries to clinch up but Dorsey circles away and keeps his distance.

Adams fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Dorsey to the ground. Adams is now in Dorsey's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Adams is looking to pass into half guard but Dorsey pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Dorsey is in guard.

Adams pulls Dorsey in close to prevent any damage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Adams seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Dorsey wants to hold on but Adams pushes him away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Ernest Dorsey has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Ken Adams is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Adams has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

I would just about give that final round to Ken Adams.
I've got Adams winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
