Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Gerrison!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gerrison fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wheeler is looking to clinch but Gerrison is avoiding it.
Wheeler misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Gerrison shoots in for a takedown but Wheeler shows good takedown defense.
Nice combo by Wheeler! Oh, that's hurt him - Gerrison falls to the canvas and Wheeler follows him into side control.


It looks like Daniel Gerrison has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wheeler cracks Gerrison with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Wheeler knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gerrison on the ground.

Wheeler decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Wheeler has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Gerrison clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Wheeler.
Wheeler is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Wheeler gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Wheeler gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Wheeler apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Wheeler shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Wheeler was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Wheeler fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Gerrison is desperately trying to improve his position but Wheeler has a good base and remains in mount.

Wheeler cracks Gerrison with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Gerrison tries to reverse the position but Wheeler maintains control.
Wheeler is in the full mount, landing strikes.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wheeler blocks Gerrison's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Wheeler closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Gerrison is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Wheeler pulls his head out easily.

Wheeler moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Wheeler goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
