The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swagger looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Swagger trying to control the position from guard on top but Datsik is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Datsik is on top in guard.
Swagger is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Datsik got a little sloppy there for a moment and Swagger has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Datsik has managed to get both his arms back between Swagger's legs - danger averted.

Datsik content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Swagger has locked up a guillotine! Swagger's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Datsik is holding on here and Swagger must be using up a lot of energy. Datsik has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Swagger gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
