Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Timpurhkhum Chouncheun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenshin Yamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chouncheun comes into the arena with พิณบรรเลง blaring out of the sound system. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Timpurhkhum Chouncheun!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kenshin Yamamoto!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Sosuke Kotani and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chouncheun changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Chouncheun throws a jab but it's blocked by Yamamoto.
Chouncheun takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Chouncheun definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Yamamoto ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Chouncheun swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Chouncheun clinches up with Yamamoto and pushes him back against the cage.
Yamamoto is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Chouncheun pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Yamamoto has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Yamamoto breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Yamamoto has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Yamamoto shoots for a double leg takedown but Chouncheun sprawls well. He's pushed Yamamoto's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Yamamoto throws a right hand that misses
and Chouncheun counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Chouncheun tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Chouncheun drops his hands momentarily and Yamamoto takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Chouncheun is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Chouncheun takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Yamamoto dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Chouncheun misses with a wild body shot.
A decent looking cross lands there for Yamamoto.


It looks like Timpurhkhum Chouncheun has been cut.
Timpurhkhum Chouncheun is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Yamamoto bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Yamamoto throws a shot from downtown. Chouncheun moves away and avoids it.
Chouncheun is looking to counter punch.
Chouncheun throws a lazy right hand but Yamamoto sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Yamamoto changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Jab, jab by Yamamoto - just one landing.


Chouncheun is rocked!
Chouncheun lands a jab to Yamamoto's midsection.
Timpurhkhum Chouncheun seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chouncheun looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Oh Chouncheun is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chouncheun throws a looping overhand right but Yamamoto ducks down to avoid it.
Chouncheun seems to have got his legs back now.
Chouncheun takes a swing at Yamamoto's ribcage but misses.
Chouncheun ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Yamamoto moves away.
Chouncheun lands a nice looking body shot.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Yamamoto looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Timpurhkhum Chouncheun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenshin Yamamoto.

Yamamoto shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Chouncheun as he jumps to the side.

Chouncheun dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Yamamoto. That did some damage!
Yamamoto rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chouncheun moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Yamamoto walks into a jab.
Yamamoto listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Donk. Chouncheun catches Yamamoto right on the button with a cross.
A looping hook to the body misses from Chouncheun. Yamamoto does a little dance to reset his feet.
Chouncheun tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Yamamoto paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Chouncheun finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Chouncheun just misses with a punch to the body.
Chouncheun throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Chouncheun uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Yamamoto.
Chouncheun is looking to counter punch.
Yamamoto tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Chouncheun swivels and escapes.
Chouncheun is looking to counter punch.
Good shot there by Chouncheun.
Chouncheun lands with a right hand.
Yamamoto throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Chouncheun swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Yamamoto scores with the left hand. Chouncheun knows he should have avoided that one.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chouncheun with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Yamamoto to score with a decent uppercut.

Yamamoto throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Chouncheun's corner calls for a 1-2. Chouncheun obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

and Yamamoto counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Yamamoto.
Chouncheun is wriggling around but Yamamoto manages to pass to half guard.

Yamamoto misses with a head shot. Chouncheun uses the momentum to regain guard.
Yamamoto trying to control but Chouncheun is working from the bottom.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Timpurhkhum Chouncheun will probably get the nod.

A punch lands to the side of Chouncheun 's head but he takes it in his stride.

and Chouncheun counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Chouncheun jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Chouncheun missing with a left hand there. Yamamoto was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Chouncheun swings for the body but Yamamoto moves out of range.
Yamamoto drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Chouncheun defends it well.

Chouncheun was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Chouncheun moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Chouncheun is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Yamamoto.

Chouncheun cracks Yamamoto with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Chouncheun has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Yamamoto to stand back up!

Yamamoto ducks right into an uppercut from Chouncheun.
Yamamoto tries to move into range but Chouncheun moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Chouncheun misses with an uppercut. Yamamoto saw that one coming.
Chouncheun lands a brutal head kick. Yamamoto looks out on his feet and Chouncheun throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). Timpurhkhum Chouncheun!
Timpurhkhum Chouncheun decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
