Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Hewitt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Micheal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andrew Micheal will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Brandon Hewitt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Andrew Micheal! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Micheal fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hewitt, pushing him back against the cage. Hewitt has had enough of the clinch but Micheal keeps him there for the moment. Micheal is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hewitt gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Micheal successfully pulls guard.
Hewitt has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Micheal is proving hard to escape from. Hewitt loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Micheal wants to stand and escape but Hewitt is having none of it. Hewitt wants to get up but he can't break Micheal's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Micheal wants to stand but Hewitt is controlling the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Micheal trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Micheal working a defensive guard but Hewitt passes into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Micheal kicks off Hewitt and gets to his feet. Micheal has Hewitt up against the cage in a clinch.
Micheal breaks the clinch.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Hewitt. Hewitt is trying to get an arm triangle but Micheal is defending well. Hewitt is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Micheal is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Micheal is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Hewitt off and has taken his back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Micheal is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Micheal gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Micheal gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Micheal apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Micheal shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hewitt defends it nicely. Hewitt attempts a counter takedown but Micheal avoids it well and moves away. Micheal closes the distance and clinches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Hewitt takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. A battle for position here, against the cage. Hewitt is looking to break free of the clinch but Micheal has double underhooks. Hewitt is trying to force a seperation but Micheal has the dominant position. Micheal breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hewitt tries to keep at a distance but Micheal has taken the fight into the clinch. Hewitt is trying to break the clinch but Micheal is controlling him. Micheal with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Micheal keeps control of Hewitt as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Hewitt breaks from the clinch.
Micheal shoots for a double leg takedown but Hewitt sprawls well. He's pushed Micheal's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Hewitt is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Micheal. Brandon Hewitt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Micheal.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Micheal clinches up against the cage. Hewitt can't break the clinch.
Hewitt wants to break the clinch but can't.
Hewitt could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Micheal prevents Hewitt from breaking the clinch. Hewitt tries to break free but Micheal pushes him back against the cage. Hewitt is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Micheal breaks the clinch.
Micheal closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Hewitt pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hewitt wants to clinch up but Micheal keeps it at a distance. And Micheal tries to counter it with a takedown but Hewitt pushes his down on his head and steps out. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Micheal shoots in for a double leg but Hewitt sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Hewitt cracks Micheal with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrew Micheal dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Hewitt cracks the inside of Micheal's front leg. Hewitt shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hewitt showed some decent athleticism there. Micheal is looking to get back to is feet but Hewitt passes into side control.
Hewitt grinds an elbow into Micheal's temple. Micheal tries to control but Hewitt manages to take his back. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hewitt misses with an elbow to the head. Hewitt is not going to allow Micheal to sit and survive in this position. Hewitt is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Micheal is defending well though. Hewitt let's go of the attempt for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Micheal is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Micheal is trying to stand back up. Hewitt gets his hands free as Micheal looks to control. Hewitt goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Micheal escapes and is now in half guard on top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Micheal performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Hewitt trying to control from the bottom.
Micheal is looking to take a break and control but Hewitt is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hewitt is looking to improve his position.
Micheal throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hewitt regains full guard. Nicely done. Hewitt is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Micheal defends well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hewitt working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Micheal has passed into half guard!
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Micheal in particular looking to stall. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Micheal in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Hewitt tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Micheal!
