Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ed Gennero !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Altare!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gennero stuns Altare with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Altare scoring well with a low kick there.
Gennero misses with an uppercut.
Gennero falls off balance throwing a combination
and Altare counters with a body kick that stops Gennero in his tracks momentarily.
Altare scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Gennero digs a good body shot into Altare's ribs.
Gennero takes the fight into the clinch.
Gennero digs a right hand into Altare's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Altare's gas tank.
Altare tries a body shot but Gennero blocks it.
Altare takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like John Altare has been cut.
Gennero throws an elbow but it misses.
Altare blocks a body shot from Gennero .
Our sources have told us that Gennero has been working on his elbows in the gym.
Altare's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A shot to the body from Gennero misses
and Altare counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gennero on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Gennero will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Altare slips under a jab from Gennero .
Altare on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Gennero lands a head kick!
Gennero connects with a solid leg kick.
Gennero is looking to slow Altare down with leg kicks.
The fighters circling - Gennero throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Altare let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Gennero connects with a stiff jab that staggers Altare - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

After winning the bout, Ed Gennero thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
