The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shirou Masuda and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ho Choi throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Melton.
Melton tries to clinch but Ho Choi moves out of range.
Melton tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Melton has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Ho Choi.
A shot to the liver by Ho Choi. Beautiful body shot.
Melton could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Melton shoots in for a double leg but Ho Choi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ho Choi changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Ho Choi lands a big head kick that sends Melton tumbling to the mat! Ho Choi takes a step backwards and waves Melton back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Melton is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nice sprawl there from Ho Choi as Melton shoots in.
Ho Choi wants to counter with a clinch but Melton pushes him away.
Oh Melton is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ho Choi feints and then cracks Melton's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Melton down.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Ho Choi throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Melton is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
