Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rolls Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Zerynchuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the ring accompanied by Wu-Tang Clan - The Mystery Of Chessboxin. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rolls Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladimir Zerynchuk!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Igor Prikhodko and Dmitry Maklakov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zerynchuk shoots in looking for a takedown. Gracie tries to sprawl out of it but Zerynchuk keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Gracie manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Zerynchuk closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gracie circles away.
Zerynchuk tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Zerynchuk should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Gracie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zerynchuk swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and Gracie counters with a beautiful punch that sends Zerynchuk to the canvas!

Zerynchuk is rocked!

It looks like Vladimir Zerynchuk has been cut.
Rolls Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vladimir Zerynchuk.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Gracie connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Zerynchuk some visible discomfort.

Gracie working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Gracie is trying to get an arm triangle but Zerynchuk is defending well.

Gracie has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Zerynchuk!

Gracie gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Gracie throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Zerynchuk stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Gracie holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Gracie forces Zerynchuk back against the ropes and clinches.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Gracie is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Gracie shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Zerynchuk doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into side control. Zerynchuk won't be happy with that.
Gracie is putting a hurting on Zerynchuk here, landing some big shots from side control.
Zerynchuk is looking to reverse the position.

Gracie stands up and beckons Zerynchuk to his feet.
Gracie blocks a head kick by Zerynchuk.

and Gracie counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Zerynchuk is breathing heavily.
Zerynchuk drops his hands momentarily and Gracie takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Zerynchuk as he avoids it easily.
Zerynchuk seems to have recovered his senses.

Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Zerynchuk keeps working.

Zerynchuk is bucking up trying to escape but Gracie cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Gracie manages to capitalize on a mistake by Zerynchuk to take his back!
