Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Santiago Holmes and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunacrii throws a jab but it's blocked by Superior.
Superior seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Gunacrii slips a jab from Superior.
Gunacrii misses with a few strikes there.
Gunacrii throws a lazy right hand but Superior sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gunacrii throws out a loose jab but Superior uses good head movement to avoid it.
Superior has Gunacrii up against the cage in a clinch.
Gunacrii misses with a punch on the inside.
Superior tries a body shot but Gunacrii blocks it.
Gunacrii's coach down at All Time Wrestling - 12 ELITE COACHES was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Gunacrii's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Superior goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Gunacrii.
Superior scores with a shot to the side of Gunacrii's head.
Gunacrii's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A head punch on the inside from Gunacrii fails to land.
Superior scores with a hook to the body.
Superior misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Superior blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Gunacrii tries to stall but Superior uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Gunacrii misses with a hook from the clinch.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Gunacrii.
Gunacrii swings wildly with an uppercut but Superior uses good head movement to avoid it.
Gunacrii has a couple of punches blocked by Superior.
Superior blocks a body shot from Gunacrii.
Superior has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Gunacrii regains guard immediately.
Superior wants to pass the guard but Gunacrii is keeping the position.
Superior stays in close to Gunacrii's body and controls the position.
Gunacrii is trying to keep Superior in close.
Superior controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Superior pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gunacrii is keeping the position for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Superior postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Gunacrii is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Superior, into his guard.
Gunacrii trying to control the position from guard on top but Superior is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gunacrii trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Superior manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Superior slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Superior wants to control from the top but Gunacrii keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gunacrii trying to keep a closed guard but Superior is proving a slippery customer.

Superior drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Gunacrii manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Superior has Gunacrii in his guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Gunacrii is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Superior working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gunacrii doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Superior is tightening it up a little... Gunacrii has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Gunacrii reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Gunacrii taps out! Nice BJJ there by Superior!
