The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Ysengrin.
It looks like Al Capone has been cut.
Capone's coach down at Cozad The Island was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Capone's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Ysengrin dips to his left and cracks Capone with an uppercut!
Capone wants to clinch
and Ysengrin counters with a crisp right hand that drops Capone! Ysengrin lets Capone back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Capone is rocked!
Capone leaves his chin hanging out and Ysengrin seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Capone crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dave Ysengrin!
Dave Ysengrin was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
