The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Albrecht fails to land with a series of punches.

Albrecht swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Albrecht takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Albrecht has eaten all the pies!
Albrecht throws a hook to the side of Lazaro's head but Lazaro sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Lazaro tries to counter by clinching up but Albrecht breaks away and moves out of range.

Lazaro drops Albrecht onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Albrecht is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

It looks like Achim Albrecht has been cut.

Lazaro unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Albrecht! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Lazaro is unloading with more strikes now! Albrecht drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

In his post fight interview, Paulo Lazaro started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
