Maxwell comes into the arena with Sonne - Rammstein blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maxwell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bourque was well out of range. Poor timing from Maxwell.
A left lands for Maxwell.

It looks like Timothy Bourque has been cut.
Bourque stuns Maxwell with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Bourque scores with a head kick. Maxwell tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

It looks like Ross Maxwell has been cut.

Bourque cracks Maxwell with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Bourque has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Maxwell to stand back up!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Maxwell throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bourque misses with a double jab
and Maxwell counters with a two punch combo.
Maxwell throws a leg kick but Bourque sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Maxwell tries a head kick but it misses.
Bourque unleashes a big counter combination but Maxwell bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Bourque moves away from the strike by Maxwell.
Maxwell lands with a right hand.
Maxwell misses with a hook.
Maxwell ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Nice jab there from Maxwell.
Maxwell looks to land a left hand but Bourque moved out of range nicely.
Maxwell ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Maxwell feints with a jab and clips Bourque right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Bourque is sent crashing into the canvas and Maxwell leaps in for the kill! Bourque tries to get to his feet but Maxwell is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Bourque is in need of a savior and steps in!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ross Maxwell!
