Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adi Dassler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunnar Wylde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wylde is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Black Label Society - Parade of the Dead. Gunnar Wylde will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Adi Dassler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gunnar Wylde! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dassler with a lazy takedown attempt and Wylde connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Wylde thuds a left hand into Dassler's body. Wylde throws a head kick but Dassler moves out of range.
Dassler gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Wylde counters with a series of strikes. Dassler will be more careful next time no doubt. Dassler looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Wylde! Wylde is looking for a sweep. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wylde takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Wylde is looking for a sweep. Dassler tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dassler has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Wylde can't do much from the bottom here. Dassler is trying to get an arm triangle but Wylde is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wylde is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Dassler has just dragged him back down to the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wylde managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Dassler.
Dassler looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Dassler wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Wylde, who protects the arm well. Wylde is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Dassler is controlling him well. Dassler has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Dassler tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dassler has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Dassler tries for a kimura but Wylde is defending well. Wylde tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dassler wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Wylde is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Dassler has just dragged him back down to the mat. Dassler goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Wylde has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Dassler but great work by Wylde. Wylde decides to stand up, so the ref orders Dassler to his feet. Wylde throws a low kick but Dassler avoids it. Dassler fails with a takedown attempt. A little jabbing left from Wylde on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adi Dassler. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Dassler counters with a leg kick. Dassler fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dassler fails with the takedown. Good exchange - Wylde coming out on top. Gunnar Wylde seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dassler takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. A nice inside leg kick there by Wylde. That's going to slow Dassler down.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A nice leg kick lands there from Wylde. Wylde slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Dassler checks a leg kick nicely. Dassler clinches with his opponent.
Wylde has a couple of punches blocked by Dassler.
Dassler is trying to trip Wylde. He has hold of a leg but Wylde is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Dassler persists though and gets the takedown into guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wylde wants to stand up but Dassler is controlling him. Dassler postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Dassler is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Dassler slips nicely into half guard. Dassler is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Wylde tries to kick Dassler off but Dassler keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gunnar Wylde dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Dassler slips under a jab from Wylde. Dassler gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. A battle for position here, against the cage. Wylde lands with a left to the head. Dassler has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Wylde after a bit of a struggle. Wylde tries to throw a body punch but Dassler avoids it by throwing Wylde back against the cage. Dassler has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Wylde is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Wylde has a couple of punches blocked by Dassler.

Adi Dassler dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Dassler shoots and misses and Wylde makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Dassler takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
It looks like Adi Dassler has been cut. Dassler shoots in looking for a takedown but Wylde manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dassler's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. A little jabbing left from Wylde on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Dassler tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wylde sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dassler somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adi Dassler. That's going to take a lot out of him. An inside leg kick lands from Wylde. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wylde has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Dassler. Dassler looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Wylde swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Dassler moves away from the strike by Wylde. Wylde throws the left hand but Dassler avoids the punch easily. Wylde does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Dassler shoots in but no luck this time. Wylde missing with a left hand there. Dassler was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Dassler tries to counter by clinching up but Wylde breaks away and moves out of range. Dassler dives in for a single leg takedown but Wylde sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Wylde attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Wylde throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dassler gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Wylde. A jab from Wylde misses. Wylde misses with a straight left. Dassler tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Wylde manages to circle out of the way. A decent looking cross lands there for Wylde. Wylde scores with a decent looking hook. Wylde fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Dassler on the side of the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wylde throws a leg kick that misses. Dassler fails to land the takedown. Wylde throws a lazy uppercut
and Dassler counters with a nice body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dassler showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Wylde.
Dassler gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Wylde. Dassler uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wylde. Wylde misses with a low kick. Wylde pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Wylde is looking to score with low kicks. A little feinted left hand from Dassler on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Dassler chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Wylde can pounce on him.
Dassler fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Wylde avoids it really well and circles away. Gunnar Wylde seems to be getting the better of the standup. Wylde feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Dassler's calf. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wylde tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Wylde stuffs the takedown.
And that's the end of the fight! Gunnar Wylde comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Wylde has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Gunnar Wylde! Gunnar Wylde spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
