Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darren Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaka Baring (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Baring's choice of entrance music: Goyang Dumang. Jaka Baring will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Darren Martin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jaka Baring!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Ben Hemmingworth and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin needs to keep his hands up - Baring had a free shot at his head there.
Martin shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Baring's guard.
Martin trying to control the position from guard on top but Baring is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Martin trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Martin throwing strikes but missing.
Martin controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Martin trying to control but Baring is working from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Baring can do anything to dispel that myth.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Baring is pulling down on Martin's head. It's preventing any offense from Martin, at least for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Martin trying to control the position from guard on top but Baring is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Martin is looking to work some ground and pound but Baring has wrist control.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Nice sprawl there from Baring as Martin shoots in.

No luck for Martin with that takedown attempt.
Martin has been working on his balance at The Iron Works $800 Elite Coaches, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Baring.
Martin fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darren Martin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Baring lands a high kick!
Martin has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Baring finds it's way round the side to connect with Martin's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Baring throws a sloppy head kick and Martin moves out of range easily.
No joy there for Baring, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Martin attempts a counter takedown but Baring avoids it well and moves away.
Martin shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Baring defends it nicely.
Baring throws a right and a left that both miss.
Martin tries to counter by clinching up but Baring breaks away and moves out of range.
Baring throws a leg kick which misses Martin's front leg but catches the back leg as Martin tries to avoid it.
Baring digs a good body shot into Martin's ribs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Baring lands a head shot.
Martin misses with a takedown attempt
and Baring counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Left hook, right uppercut from Baring.
Martin walks into a left hand.
Martin on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Baring scores with a jab to the jaw.
Martin is rocked!
Martin bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Baring comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Martin falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Martin was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jaka Baring!
A very excited looking Jaka Baring made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
