Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Owen Whipple (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Wallace! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Owen Whipple! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wallace lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Wallace clinches up with Whipple and pushes him back against the cage. Wallace gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Whipple looking for a sweep. Not yet Whipple, not yet. Whipple is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Whipple has momentary wrist control but Wallace slips an elbow through the middle. Whipple working for a triangle but Wallace defends it easily.
Wallace avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wallace postures up and lands a big shot to Whipple's brow. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Wallace won't allow Whipple to sweep him here. Whipple looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Wallace working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Whipple's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Whipple is trying to control the position but Wallace postures up. Wallace is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Wallace stopping the sweep attempt from Whipple. Whipple lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Wallace is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Whipple defends well. Wallace looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Whipple is posturing up here but Wallace has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Whipple tries to roll out but it's too tight and Whipple has to tap! Slick submission there by Wallace!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ryan Wallace! A relieved looking Ryan Wallace thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. The defeated Owen Whipple had this to say: 'I guess I'm just not that good. '.
