Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jc Hodges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Monti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jc Hodges!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Richard Monti!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monti misses with a few strikes there.
Monti shoots in but Hodges avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Monti fails to land the takedown.
Hodges really is a fat lump.
Monti misses with a takedown
and Hodges counters with a straight right hand.
Jc Hodges has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard Monti.
Hodges tries to clinch up but Monti circles away and keeps his distance.
Monti throws out a counter right but Hodges avoids it with no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Hodges holds on and takes a little breather.
Monti sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hodges's guard.
Hodges might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Monti lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Hodges wants to control but Monti is keeping busy.

Hodges knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Monti on the ground.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Monti wants to pass the guard but Hodges is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Richard Monti dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Monti blocks a low kick nicely.

Monti has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Hodges is trying to keep an underhook but Monti manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Hodges has one foot on Monti's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Monti postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Monti passes to full mount!
Monti is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.
Monti with shots to the head and body - Hodges looks very uncomfortable down there.
Hodges is working to get back to half guard.
Monti avoids the attempt from Hodges to control.
BOOM! Monti connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Monti has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Hodges is forced to tap!
