Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dan Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pistol Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pistol Robinson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Turner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, Pistol Robinson! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Turner swats away the attempt to clinch by Robinson. Robinson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Turner changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Robinson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. A lull in the action here. Robinson is trying to improve his position. Robinson is trying to get back to his feet. Robinson prevents Turner from improving position. Turner trying to control the action but Robinson is working from the bottom. Robinson can't do much from the bottom here. Robinson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Turner asserts his dominance and retains side control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Robinson has his takedown stuffed and Turner decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Robinson's guard. Turner stays in close to Robinson's body and controls the position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Turner accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Turner trying to control but Robinson is working from the bottom. Turner controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Robinson wants to stand up but Turner is controlling him. Turner controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Robinson wants to stand up but Turner is controlling him. Turner looking to pass the guard. Turner is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Turner throws an overhand right that lands on Robinson's shoulder, as Robinson tries to avoid the shot. Turner changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Robinson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Robinson sneaks out the side door and pushes Turner away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Turner looks to land a combination. Robinson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Turner closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Robinson is looking to reverse the position. Robinson looks gassed! Robinson is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Robinson stops Turner from passing to mount. Turner decides to stand back up. Turner steps back and let's Robinson get back to his feet. The fighters circling - Robinson throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Turner avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Excellent takedown into side control there by Turner. Turner is looking to take a break and control but Robinson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Turner tries to move into full mount but can't pass Robinson's legs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Robinson wants to get back to his feet. Turner tries to advance to mount but can't. Robinson regains half guard there - taking advantage of Turner's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Robinson wants to improve his position but Turner is controlling well.
Turner stalling away here and it's allowed Robinson to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Turner dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Robinson thows a body shot but no joy. Robinson with a lazy takedown attempt and Turner counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Robinson's guard now. Turner wants to control from the top but Robinson keeps moving. Turner has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Robinson working for a triangle but Turner defends it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Turner slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Robinson is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Robinson is trying to control Turner's posture but Turner avoids it. Robinson trying to remain calm as Turner controls from the top position. Turner works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Turner working the ground and pound from side control. Turner wants to lay and pray for a moment but Robinson keeps working. Robinson stops Turner from passing to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Turner moves into full mount! Turner scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Robinson?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Turner content just to control the position here. Turner working the ground and pound effectively.
Turner looking to control and managing it successfully. Turner trying to control but Robinson is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Turner lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Robinson hang on? Robinson is desperately trying to improve his position but Turner has a good base and remains in mount. Turner looking for a guillotine from mount but Robinson is having none of it. Robinson is squirming around, avoiding Turner's attempts to control the action. Robinson prevents Turner from taking his back. Robinson is trying to escape the mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Robinson squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Robinson tries to get back to half guard but can't. Turner looking to control and managing it successfully. Turner seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Robinson for as long as he can get away with. Robinson is looking to improve his position but Turner isn't that keen on the idea. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Turner controlling the pace for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Turner dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Robinson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Turner looks for a takedown but Robinson sprawls well. Robinson wants to clinch and Turner counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Turner. Turner trying to control but Robinson is working from the bottom. Turner wanted to stand there but Robinson had control of the position. Turner wants to pass the guard but Robinson is keeping the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Robinson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Turner can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Turner stopping the sweep attempt from Robinson. Turner wants to pass the guard but Robinson is keeping the position. Dan Turner overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Robinson is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Robinson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Turner closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Turner looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Turner looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Turner stalling away here and it's allowed Robinson to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Robinson keeping moving, preventing Turner from controlling successfully. Robinson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Turner is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Robinson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Turner's back instead. Robinson is trying to stick to Turner's back but Turner is turning into Robinson. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Robinson's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Turner.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Turner showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Robinson has his feet on Turner's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Turner misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Turner. That's going to take a lot out of him. Robinson fails with the takedown and Turner counters with a takedown into side control. Turner taking a breather here. Turner's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
And that's the end of the fight! Dan Turner showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Turner, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
