The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wayne shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Angelov eats them both and turns towards Wayne to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Peter Angelov has been cut.
Angelov tries to close the distance and clinch but Wayne swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We've been informed that Angelov has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Wayne is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Angelov rolls with it to try and escape but Wayne cranks on the arm and Angelov is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
