Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between James McKenna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Jules (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think McKenna might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to scotland the brave. Aaron Jules told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, James McKenna!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aaron Jules!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Ryoma Takatsuka and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKenna shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jules as he jumps to the side.
Jules throws a shot to the body.
McKenna seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
McKenna takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Jules with a body punch. A glancing blow.
McKenna shoots for a takedown but Jules saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
McKenna shoots in looking for a takedown. Jules tries to sprawl out of it but McKenna keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jules manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James McKenna. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jules lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jules feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends McKenna sprawling to the canvas! McKenna rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Jules finish him?!
McKenna is rocked!
It looks like James McKenna has been cut.
Jules shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. McKenna takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Jules sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! McKenna bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Aaron Jules!
