Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Bret Ireland!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Phil Schofield and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ireland avoids the head kick by Jones.
Ireland feints the counter takedown.
Ireland misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Jones has managed to clinch.
Ireland wants to break free but Jones has control.

Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Ireland clinches up against the cage.
Jones has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ireland after a bit of a struggle.
Ireland controlling the action here for a moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ireland gets caught flat footed, as Jones shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Ireland has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Jones has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

George Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Jones is looking to get back to is feet but Ireland passes into side control.

Ireland is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Jones manages to work his way to half guard, despite Ireland's best efforts.
Jones slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Jones not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Jones is striking but Ireland is not phased and passes to half guard.

A close second round but Bret Ireland will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Ireland is pressed up against the cage. Jones has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ireland down to the mat. Ireland avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Ireland bucks up and tries to throw Jones off but instead Jones has got his back!
I really don't envy Ireland right now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ireland covering up well and avoiding damage.

Jones is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Ireland defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Ireland just trying to survive but Jones is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Ireland manages to reverse the position and now he's in Jones's guard. Nice work there by Ireland.

Jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ireland gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Ireland tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard.

Ireland feints the counter takedown.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ireland as he jumps to the side.

Ireland shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jones pinned against the cage. Jones gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

George Jones showed his dominance in that final round.
