The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chatichai fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Lynch checks it well. It looked like Lynch was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. A big right from Chatichai misses. Lucas Lynch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chatichai misses with a hook. Chatichai misses with a wild body shot. Lynch throws a big counter combination but Chatichai scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Lynch fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Chatichai connects with a leg kick. Lynch looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Lynch shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lynch showed some decent athleticism there. Chatichai has one foot on Lynch's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Lynch connects with a single shot there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A combination from Lynch does no damage. Chatichai stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Chatichai wants it to stay on the feet. Chatichai circles away from the clinch attempt and Chatichai counters with a stiff right hand.

That's one minute gone in the round. Lynch tries for a takedown but Chatichai sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lucas Lynch. That's going to take a lot out of him. A cross from Chatichai lands. Chatichai fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Lynch throws a right and a left that both miss. Lynch throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Chatichai was covering up waiting for the punch and Lynch finishes the takedown easily into guard. Lynch is breathing heavily. Chatichai tries to land a sweep but no joy. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Chatichai can do anything to dispel that myth. Lynch stands and steps away. Chatichai gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Chatichai fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Chatichai lands with a good body shot. Chatichai keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Chatichai appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chatichai throws a leg kick that is checked and Lynch counters with a nice uppercut. Chatichai lands a nice shot that snaps Lynch's head back.

Lynch takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Chatichai drops Lynch with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lynch looks back up at him and smiles so Chatichai waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Lucas Lynch's cut is getting worse. Chatichai connects with a body shot that sends Lynch's belly button to the back. Oh Lynch is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Chatichai catches Lynch with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Lynch forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
