The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Borowitz throws a knee to the head but misses.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Myrene just misses with a elbow thrown towards Borowitz's brow.
Borowitz creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Myrene's defenses.
It looks like Gjermus Myrene has been cut.
Borowitz lands an elbow that stopped Myrene in his tracks for a moment.
Myrene on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Borowitz drops Myrene with a big knee straight up the middle! Myrene is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

A determined Tyler Borowitz didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
