Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbee tries to clinch up.
Hulo drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Hulo working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Barbee's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hulo controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Hulo throws a big right hand that misses.
Barbee wants to sweep here but Hulo controlling him for the moment.
Hulo is pushing down on Barbee's leg trying to pass to half guard. Barbee is fighting to maintain full guard but Hulo has managed to sneak the leg through.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hulo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Barbee pinned against the cage. Barbee gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Barbee is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Barbee's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Hulo is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Barbee controls Hulo momentarily but Hulo frees himself.
Barbee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hulo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Hulo throws a series of strikes that have Barbee backpedaling.
It looks like Ricky Barbee has been cut.
Barbee stuffs the takedown.
Barbee steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Hulo. That one must have hurt.

Hulo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Barbee, pushing him back against the cage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Hulo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Barbee as he avoids it easily.
Barbee lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Barbee keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hulo explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Barbee closes the distance looking to clinch
and Hulo holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Hulo pushes Barbee off and scrambles back to his feet.

and Barbee counters with a body kick.

Hanson Hulo showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Hulo has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
