Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roman Kersikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kale Kummola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kersikov comes into the arena with Iron Maiden - The Wicker Man blaring out of the sound system. Kummola has chosen Eternal Tears of Sorrow - Sakura No Rei as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roman Kersikov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kale Kummola!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kummola throws a body punch but Kersikov moves out of range.
Kersikov feinted with a counter takedown.

Kummola takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Kummola connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Kersikov is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Kersikov fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kummola has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Kummola leaves Kersikov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kersikov takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Kale Kummola comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kummola has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
