Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick from Jones lands but Tyson takes it in his stride.

It looks like Trents Tyson has been cut.

Tyson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jones gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Jones goes for a takedown attempt but Tyson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Jones manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Tyson tries to break the clinch but Jones is controlling the position.
Jones is trying to drag Tyson to the mat but Tyson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Jones pulls guard effortlessly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones is pulling down on Tyson's head to control his posture.

Jones wants to sweep here but Tyson controlling him for the moment.
Jones keeping moving, preventing Tyson from controlling successfully.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Jones keeps control of Tyson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Jones is pushing Tyson up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Jones is breathing heavily.
Tyson thows a big elbow that misses.
Tyson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jones is on top in guard.

Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tyson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Tyson wants to clinch up but Jones keeps it at a distance.
Jones dodges the punch combination from Tyson.
Jones takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Jones avoids a kick to the body.

Jones avoids a punch combination nicely.
Horrible takedown by Jones or perhaps it was just good defense by Tyson which made him look bad.

Tyson moves into the clinch successfully.
Tyson tries to pull guard but Jones won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trents Tyson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jones has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Tyson clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Tyson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jones is working away from the top position though.
Jones looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Bob Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Jones rushes Tyson and presses him up against the cage.
Tyson can't get the takedown.
Jones dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Tyson won't allow Jones to sweep him here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Bob Jones is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Tyson is working Jones over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
