The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lasileuka darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Lasileuka has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Lasileuka looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pandela with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pandela looks gassed!
Lasileuka passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Pandela!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
BOOM! Lasileuka connects with a massive shot to the dome!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lasileuka postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Pandela looks a forlorn figure.

A big strike lands for Lasileuka! That's really hurt Pandela and he's turned his back - Lasileuka keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Lasileuka Jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
