Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Robert Orvin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jislaya Koshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robert Orvin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert Orvin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jislaya Koshi!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Koshi feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Orvin manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Orvin gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Koshi is looking to control Orvin's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Koshi avoid being mounted?
Orvin throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Koshi should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Orvin wants to get back to his feet.
Koshi holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Koshi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Orvin is working away from the top position though.

Koshi is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Our spies down at at London MMA Club inform us that Koshi has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Koshi is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Orvin avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Koshi is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Orvin is aware though and is defending well.
Orvin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Koshi on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Koshi is on top in guard.

Koshi is pushing down on Orvin's leg trying to pass to half guard. Orvin is fighting to maintain full guard but Koshi has managed to sneak the leg through.

Koshi wants to take a breather but Orvin is having none of it.

Koshi looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Orvin looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Koshi tries to stand but can't do so whilst Orvin controls his leg.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Orvin is defending against the submission attempts here by Koshi.
Orvin is looking for a sweep. Koshi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Koshi is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Orvin has managed to free his arm - good work.
Orvin wants to get back to full guard.
Koshi thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Orvin's head.
Orvin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Koshi is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Koshi not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jislaya Koshi will probably get the nod.

Robert Orvin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Orvin has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Orvin seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Koshi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Orvin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Orvin slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Orvin stands up from Koshi's guard - Orvin perhaps looking for a knockout.

Orvin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Koshi, pushing him back against the cage.
Koshi managing to block the knees to the body from Orvin.

Orvin turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Koshi is looking for a sweep.
Orvin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Koshi is trying to control Orvin's posture but Orvin avoids it.
Koshi tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Orvin wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Orvin stands up.
Orvin scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Orvin moves into the clinch successfully.

Orvin has hold of one of Koshi's legs. Koshi is fighting the takedown attempt but Orvin gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Koshi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Koshi misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Orvin is squirming around, avoiding Koshi's attempts to control the action.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Jislaya Koshi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Koshi has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
