The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boets misses with a double jab
and Mabogo counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Boets fails with a takedown attempt.
Mabogo throws a right and a left that both miss.
Boets misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
An attempted straight right counter from Mabogo misses the target.
Boets misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mabogo staying out of range there.
Boets rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mabogo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Oooooh!!! Mabogo has knocked Boets down with a huge combo! Mabogo steps away and waves a wobbly Boets back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Dimon Boets has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Boets throws a series of punches but Mabogo avoids them all with ease.
Mabogo went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Mabogo throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Jab, jab by Boets - just one landing.
Mabogo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Boets stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Kenalemodisa Mabogo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Boets looks winded!

OH! Boets has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Mabogo smells blood and charges in for the finish! Mabogo unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Boets sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

Kenalemodisa Mabogo tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
