Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dean Duggan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bootleg Popeye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duggan comes to the cage accompanied by The Fratellis - Chelsea Dagger. Popeye is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Die for Metal. Bootleg Popeye acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Popeye has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dean Duggan.

After the fight, Bootleg Popeye was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
