Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scott Norton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony McDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying McDonald's choice of entrance music: Vader - Blood Of Kingu. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Scott Norton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tony McDonald! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McDonald misses the body punch and Norton counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Tony McDonald has been cut. McDonald throws a jab when Norton was well out of range. As McDonald looks to move away, Norton throws a big counter combo but McDonald just gets out of the way. McDonald staying out of range there. McDonald thuds his right hand into Norton's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. A jab from McDonald misses. McDonald scores with a nice strike. A big right from Norton misses. It seemed like McDonald was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Norton throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McDonald does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Norton rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and McDonald makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Norton jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

and McDonald finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Norton takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
That's one minute gone in the round. McDonald tries to close the distance and clinch but Norton swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A quick step to the side and Norton tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. McDonald moves into the clinch. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Norton. McDonald blocking some punches.

Norton has had enough of the clinch but McDonald keeps him there for the moment. Norton swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Norton's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. McDonald thows a left - swing and a miss! McDonald keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Norton. McDonald keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Norton throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. And an attempted straight right on the counter from McDonald! But no joy. Norton pushing out the jab but it's not landing. McDonald walks into a straight right hand from Norton.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McDonald uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Norton. Tony McDonald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McDonald uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Norton. Norton throws a right hand that McDonald ducks under and follows up with a left that McDonald also avoids with ease. McDonald keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Norton ducks under a wild hook from McDonald. A counter left hand to the body from Norton misses its target. Norton scores with a sloppy right hand. McDonald should have avoided that one. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McDonald lands an overhand right. McDonald throws a leg kick but Norton sees it coming and moves out of range. Norton lands a big uppercut and McDonald crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but McDonald looks OK. Norton waves McDonald back to his feet!
McDonald is rocked!
That has opened up Tony McDonald's cut even more. Norton fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked McDonald out cold! Brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Scott Norton! Scott Norton very nearly forgot to thank CBK Fury Nutrition Inc. amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name.
