Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Igor Zadarozhni!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Raziel Shan!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Shan feints and as Zadarozhni raises his hands in defense, Shan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Shan throws a big elbow that misses.
Shan chips away with some ground and pound.
Shan postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shan throwing strikes but missing.
Shan lands a couple of elbows.
Shan in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Shan trying to control the position from guard on top but Zadarozhni is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Shan prevents Zadarozhni from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shan postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Shan avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Zadarozhni is looking to stand up but Shan isn't so interested in that idea.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Shan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Zadarozhni works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Shan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Shan with a nice head shot there.
Shan stands up over Zadarozhni, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Zadarozhni might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Shan postures up and lands a big shot to Zadarozhni's brow.
Zadarozhni on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Zadarozhni tries to get out of the position.

Zadarozhni escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Shan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Shan trying to control the position from guard on top but Zadarozhni is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Zadarozhni is rocked!
Shan arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Zadarozhni's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Raziel Shan!
Raziel Shan took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
